Transnational Interaction of EU Citizens (TI-EU) is a program specially developed to enable interaction between EU citizens of the different Member States. Trips are organized for European citizens to the various European countries, with an emphasis on interaction between European citizens. Citizens from all EU Member States can register with the ECU to participate in this program.

The main goal of is to achieve greater inclusion through personal contacts and social interactions among citizens across different countries. Transnational experiences and social interactions, can increase collective identification in line with socialisation theories. Qualitative studies show a huge increase on the level of European identification and on the positive effects of transnational interactions and exposure to EU symbols on identity.
